Clervie Magloire, a rising star in the world of tennis has always spoken with immense pleasure about her idols Serena Williams and Venus Williams. She is one of many female athletes out there who draw their inspiration from the Williams sisters. Clervie has shared how she wants to follow in the footsteps of her idols and be like them someday.

Not just that, she also shares a passion for something other than tennis. And this trait that she possesses is similar to what her idol Serena Williams also has.

Clervie confesses to sharing another trait with her idol Serena Williams

In an interview with ITF Tennis, Clervie was asked about some of her favorite pastimes. One of the things she mentioned was writing. She said that she likes writing but she is not very good at it.

“I like writing. Love writing. I suck at writing stories,” she said.

Further, she also added, “I like poetry a lot. Every now and then I try to write. But I can’t say they are good.” Her little confession about being a lover of poetry is something that she has in common with her idol Serena Williams. Serena on several occasions has recited songs and poems. One of the most noteworthy occasions where Serena Williams recited a poem was when she was invited to the New York Fashion Week.

Her poem was about empowering women. She also mentioned that she wrote the poem after one of her matches at Wimbledon when she was asked how she feels to be the greatest female athlete.

In the same interview, the teenager also talked about her love for watching “luxurious home channels”. She said that she likes watching opulent homes and it gives her immense pleasure. She knows that it is a weird thing to do but it is her hobby of sorts.

Further, she also mentioned things she did not like. One of the things she dislikes is mac and cheese. She said that she is not a fan of it. According to her cheese is not a sauce and so it should not be used like one. It should only be used for garnishing and the macaroni should have a different sauce to it and not cheese.
