LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A four-year-old died in a shooting in the Chickasaw neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

Louisville police reported to a call of a shooting involving a four-year-old at 3:50 Saturday in the 800 block of S 37th Street.

The child was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital, where they died from their injuries.

LMPD Homicide Unit is conducting the death investigation at this time, an LMPD spokesperson said. All parties involved have been accounted for.
