Smite, Paladins, & Realm Royale down on Xbox, PS4, PC & others…

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on April 15, 2021) follows:

Many Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale players have scrambled to Twitter and Reddit with claims that the games are down on Xbox, PS4, PC, and other platforms.

These three popular games by Hi-Rez Studios see thousands of users daily and are some of the most recent games from the company.

Like most other modern games, the developers add new features or squash bugs via server-side updates or patches to keep things going smooth.

But in the recent few hours, players have been left scratching their heads seeking more information on why Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale are down on Xbox, PS4, PC & other platforms.

The outage for Smite has also been recorded on the official Xbox Status page which indicates that it has not been fixed yet.

But before you go calling out Microsoft or Sony to fix the problem on the Xbox or PS4, you should know that this downtime was planned.

Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale are all down on the Xbox, PS4, PC, and other platforms due to scheduled server maintenance.

At present, only Rogue Company — developed by Hi-Rez Studios — is operational.

However, it seems that the maintenance is taking longer than usual. This has led some players to poke fun at the developers.

I’m not sure if there is actually maintenance. I think the servers might have just given up without supervision. (Source)
