They say a picture is worth a thousand words, if anything new photos of Robert Irwin and his rumoured girlfriend have just one — confirmation.
After rumours swirled that Irwin was dating Rorie Buckey, who is Heath Ledger’s niece, new photos all but confirm the two are an item.
Several images show the 19-year-old cuddling up with Buckey as they watch the sunset at a Queensland beach.
In several images, Irwin can be seen wrapping his arm’s around Buckey’s waist and he positions himself behind her.
The young couple grabbed some burgers from Grill’d before they headed to the beach together.
Another photo shows Buckey reaching out to touch Irwin’s arm after they pick up their takeaway burgers.
In a gentlemanly gesture, Irwin can be seen wearing a coat which he later puts on his new girlfriend’s legs.
The pair were first linked last week.
Their sighting squashes rumours that Irwin was dating Lucia Field, the daughter of Blue Wiggle Anthony Field.
Last week, PerthNow revealed Irwin’s mystery woman was Rorie, the daughter of Heath Ledger’s sister Kate.
Rorie has a twin sister, Scarlett who is followed by West Aussie actor Charmaine Bingwa, who is starring alongside Will Smith in his new movie, Emancipation.
New Idea reports Buckey works at Australia Zoo alongside Irwin and the rest of his family.
Neither Irwin nor Buckey have publicly commented on their relationship.
