Omaha Police said Steven Docken, 38, died Monday in a shootout with officers at Dino’s Storage near 53rd and Center. Police say Docken ran when confronted. When officers caught-up to him, there was a physical altercation and an exchange of gunfire.Docken was shot multiple times and died at the scene. The two officers were shot in their lower extremities.The names of the officers have not been released. Police said Tuesday one of the officers went home from the hospital just hours after the shooting. The other is hospitalized with non-life threatening injures.
