For the first time in decades a former United States President has visited Logansport. President Bill Clinton addressed a crowd in the gymnasium at Lincoln Middle School, for his wife Hillary’s bid for 2008 presidential campaign.
The city has established a two-hour parking limit in the downtown area from Seventh Street to First Street.
Area businesses are preparing for a 1 percent sales tax increase.
Logansport High School’s team won its first-ever state championship in the concert division at the State Indoor Drumline competition at Ben Davis High School at Indianapolis.

Local used car dealer Rick Crawley has discovered a 1920 ReVere touring car, which was manufactured in Logansport, for sale in Las Vegas, Nevada.
