Is Michael Jordan Playing Tonight? Rumors of Jordan’s Return to the NBA Spread Like Wildfire – Sportsmanor appeared on www.sportsmanor.com by Sportsmanor.

Michael Jordan is hands down the greatest to ever play the sport of basketball. If one were to argue about pure dominance, Mike would be the only one who could top every player from every generation. It is said that the former 6x NBA Champion is a master of the sport and has learned everything it has to offer to the mind. During his illustrious career, MJ proved that this notion was in fact true.

However, since retirement, Michael Jordan has turned into a business person. Crowned as one of three billionaire athletes in the world, the Chicago Bulls legend has multiple investments in tech companies, sports teams, and various other ventures. One of his biggest acquisitions was of the Charlotte Hornets. But the franchise has never had a successful season, even under his guidance.

There have been numerous times the GOAT has been criticized for making pure decisions on drafting new players or trading for a better roster. In a recent post on Facebook by a page called Mamba Basketball, Michael Jordan was quoted saying, “After much consideration and reflection, I’m electing to end my retirement and resume my career as an NBA player.”

He apparently even said, “I may be 60 years old, but I’m confident I can play against anyone, anywhere, at any time to this day. And there’s no way I’m going to just stand by while LeBron sits above Kobe, Kareem, and myself on the all-time scorers list.”

The page even claimed that Michael Jordan would return effective immediately. But fans were quick to catch onto the April Fools’ Day trend as the post was uploaded on April 1. Thus, clarifying that it was all a hoax. He is not even mentioned on the roster against upcoming opponents.

How many times has Michael Jordan retired?

No, Michael Jordan will not suit up with the Charlotte Hornets, unfortunately. Nor will he add another retirement to the number of times he already has. The greatest basketball player ever has retired from the NBA an unusual three times. Based on this, everybody bashed him for giving up on basketball and just not being interested enough. Along with it came several conspiracies. The first was in 1993 because he could not handle his father’s death.

MJ retired from basketball and decided to take on baseball, which he grew up playing with his father. A year and a half later, he would return and win three championships again with the Bulls. Following this legendary stretch, he would call it a career once again in 1999. It was during this time people started to believe he was suspended for his gambling habits. His coach, Phil Jackson, believed he lost interest. He returned in 2001 with the Washington Wizards and officially hung his jersey one last in 2003.
