Moon Knight has been an entertaining watch for Marvel Studios and Disney Plus fans. It makes you think that a video game should be in his future.

If there’s one word to describe Moon Knight on Disney Plus, it would be exciting. Whether it was the first time we hear Khonshu’s voice or see him, Steven Grant becoming Marc Spector or any of the deplorable things Arthur Harrow has done, the show keeps you on the edge of your seat. This proves you don’t need action for a comic book project to be worth the watch.

Episodes 3 and 4 have been a perfect mix of action and treasure hunting. Something that reminded this writer of the Uncharted franchise from PlayStation. A game that also combines action, treasure hunting, and puzzles better than any other video game. If the show is that close to the game, why shouldn’t this become PlayStation’s newest franchise?

A Moon Knight video needs to happen: Here’s why

Why it resembles Uncharted

There are a lot of staples that come with an Uncharted game. First, and maybe the one that everyone knows about, is climbing. There isn’t a part of the game that doesn’t require it. It’s so recognizable that even the game makes fun of it. Sometimes it’s part of the campaign, other times it’s to find treasure. That climbing can sometimes lead to rooftop fights.

There were times in episode 3 of Uncharted when we saw Marc Spector fighting on the roof. Climbing is the only way he could’ve gotten up there. We’ve seen Nathan Drake (Uncharted’s star character) get to higher altitudes. That sometimes leads to a fight. It would be easy to have that happen in a Moon Knight game. The cut scenes could be cool too. You could start as Steven talking things out and finish with Marc beating people down.
