Hugely popular fashion brand, Ralph Lauren, has kicked off its Web3 push by distributing NFT gifts to the good folk of Miami. The initiative sees the historic brand strike a multi-tiered partnership with the city’s Poolsuite Web3 community as Ralph Lauren looks to tap into Miami’s buzzing crypto scene.

The collaboration will see Poolsuite community members receive a “Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFT” gift that will offer access to an exclusive in-person event. The event itself will be part of a three-day immersive experience hosted at a private estate in Miami later this month.

Ralph Adopts Lauren NFTs and Crypto Payments

The move comes as part of a series of Web3 initiatives employed by the company, where influencers, customers, and holders of the Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFTs will be in attendance. Sources close to the matter reveal the move is meant to commemorate a recently launched one-of-a kind Ralph Lauren store in Miami’s Design District. It’s designed in a modern way with some digital aesthetic and interactive screens where users can go through its catalog and even book styling appointments.

It will sell the usual men’s and women’s luxury collections plus special handbags and other accessories. Interestingly, these items can be purchased using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Dogecoin, and many others. To make crypto payments possible, the company partnered with BitPay, a crypto payment service provider, marking the first time a store under the brand has incorporated crypto payments.

That said, the company’s Web3 push comes at a time when many fashion brands are actively exploring Metaverse opportunities. In the recent past, the likes of Gucci and Prada have launched campaigns of their own using NFTs to foster and reward customer loyalty.
