One Direction may not be reuniting but one member will appear on James Corden’s final show | Her.ie appeared on www.her.ie by Ellen Fitzpatrick.
One out of five ain’t bad…
It was a sad week last week for Directioners across the globe when The Late Late Show with James Corden confirmed that One Direction would not be reuniting for the final episode.
Rumours have been swirling that Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik were all going to reunite for James Corden’s last-ever episode of The Late Late Show.
The five-piece had been tipped to be part of the lineup when gossip site DeuxMoi claimed they would all be in attendance – of course, leading fans to go wild.
Taking to the official show’s Twitter account, an announcement read: “Nobody loves the boys more than us, but this [news] isn’t true.
“What is true is we’ve got an absolutely brilliant 2-hour finale planned to celebrate 8 years of The Late Late Show at 10pm on April 27th.”

While the five-piece won’t be reuniting on the show, there is some good news for those fans who were holding out to get a glimpse of the boys.
Harry Styles is set to make his final appearance on the show alongside Will Ferrell.
The official Twitter account for the show confirmed the news on Monday that the As It Was singer would be in the line up.
Last year, it was confirmed that James Corden would be leaving The Late Late Show and during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, he said that it was an emotional decision.
He said: “My intention, which I think I’ll fail at dramatically, is to just not be crying for the entire hour, which I think I will be.
“So I’m really going to try to keep it together. Our intention is to, you know, go out in the way that we came in and I will miss it hugely.”
