See Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny in the trailer for ‘Priscilla’ | CPT PPP Coverage

A24 has shared the first teaser-trailer for writer-director Sofia Coppola’s upcoming biopic, Priscilla, featuring Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley, with Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla Presley.

The film – set for release in October – is based on Priscilla’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me, which shared an intimate account of her life with Elvis.  An official film synopsis reads: “Through Priscilla’s eyes, Sofia Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame.” Elvis and Priscilla married in 1967 and had one child, Lisa Marie Presley. They divorced in 1973, four years before Elvis’ untimely death. Priscilla went on to have a son, Navarone Garibaldi, with her longtime partner Marco Antonio Garcia, who were together from the mid-1980s until 2006.

Priscilla also stars Raine Monroe Boland and Emily Mitchell as Lisa Marie Presley at different ages, as well as Dagmara Domi?czyk, Jorja Cadence, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, Luke Humphrey and more.  Take a look at the teaser-trailer- here.
