Harry Styles‘ mum found herself clapping back at a troll after they made a cruel jibe over her holiday snap. Anne Twist was body-shamed by the social media user as she took to Instagram to post some snaps from her recent escapades.

And it was the first image the children’s author, 55, shared that caught people’s attention. Anne looked stunning as she was seen attending a friend’s wedding. It showed her posing with her pals while sporting a mint green silk dress.

Her brunette locks had been styled into bouncy curls while she wore a white fascinator and metallic wedges. Other images, meanwhile, appeared to show Anne enjoying a hen do, time with her loved ones and some downtime with her cat.

“July in a nutshell,” she started the caption of her post to her 2.6m followers. “A wedding, a new baby, another hen do, trying not to fall off the back of a speeding boat, Italy with family & friends, limoncello, a detox and another new bab,” she continued.

“Too many questions to answer but main ones … 1) my green dress in pic one was from @asos 2) my new fur baby is a two year old boy called Mista from @warrington_animal_welfare_real … I now have 6 fur babies.”

But the comments soon came back to the first photo as @kellie_ie gushed: “That green dress on you Anne.” @leaderoftheharries replied: “I love that light green dress on you .It’s beautiful and elegant .I know now where Harry gets his style sense.”

@itslexish wrote: “That green dress, tho??” with a string of love heart eyes emojis. @hrryslittlethings commented: “You look gorgeous anne!!” @krxstixe added: “What a happy month full of fun and laughter! Anne you’re having the time of your life!!!”

But following one of the kind comments, a troll cruelly took it upon themselves to respond: “That can’t be a recent pic because she looked very heavy in Italy‘, referring to Anne’s holiday last month.

It didn’t take long for several of Anne’s followers to rush to her defence but she also hit back herself, writing: “It’s a July pic. I’m sorry you feel the need to comment on my weight!”
