Ubisoft is offering a free weekend trial of five Assassin’s Creed games on PS4 and PS5. Players will have the opportunity to try out Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations in their entirety. However, this trial period will only last for four days.
The free weekend will begin on August 10 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT and will end on August 14 at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT. Players can already preload Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to ensure they are ready for the free period. To access the other four games, players will need a PS Plus Extra subscription. Black Flag can be played as a standalone game, while the remaining three are included in the Ezio Collection.
It’s important to note that none of the DLC content will be available during the free weekend. However, any progress made in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will carry over if players decide to purchase the full game. PS Plus Extra subscribers can also continue playing the other four games beyond the free trial period. For those who want to own the games, there are discounts of up to 85% available on the PlayStation Store through the Summer Sale until August 17.
During the free weekend, players will also have a chance to earn free Twitch drops for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The rewards include the High Elf Tattoo Set, Yggdrasil Leaf, and Mystical Settlement Pack. To unlock these rewards, players must watch a participating stream of any HD Assassin’s Creed game between August 10 and August 14. The first reward will be unlocked after watching a stream for 30 minutes, with the following rewards unlocked at 60 and 90 minutes, respectively.
