“Agency New” and the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See have signed a mutual collaboration agreement, aimed at exchanging information content.
To the Dicastery, established in 2015 by Pope francesco, is entrusted with the management of the entire communications system of the Holy See, which includes the information platforms Vatican Radio, Vatican News, L’Osservatore Romano, social media channels e Vatican Media.
Agenzia Nova is an important source of Italian information on international political and economic current affairs and for everything that concerns the international projection of the “country system”, thanks to its editorial products in different languages, its widespread network of foreign correspondents and the agreements signed with numerous foreign national agencies.
The agreement, signed by the Prefect Paolo Ruffini and Fabio Squillante, general director of Agenzia Nova, provides for the possibility for the Dicastery to use Nova’s multimedia newsletters for all its information platforms, while the agency will in turn be able to disseminate, on its website and in its newsletters, the multimedia editorial contents present on the website www.vaticannews.va, relating to the activities of the Pope, the Vatican and the Catholic Church.

“We are extremely pleased with the signing of this agreement – ??explains the general director of Agenzia Nova Fabio Squillante – which will allow us to further enrich our information offer on topics of capital interest – especially in view of the next jubilee year – and which we also consider a recognition of the authority that Nova has managed to build over the years”.
