Robbie Williams made a major blunder while holding an interview and unknowingly exposed his own secret for the world to discover. The singer has seemingly confessed he had relationships with Nicole Kidman and Kylie Minogue in the past.

The English superstar collaborated with both ladies and he has adamantly denied claims that he pursued romantic affairs with them. However, he could not avoid the huge slip-up after he spilled the beans himself.

Robbie Williams Inadvertently Exposed His Biggest Secret in an Interview

While discussing his professional collaboration with Nicole Kidman and Kylie Minogue via French magazine Paris Match (via The Sun), singer-songwriter Robbie Williams accidentally revealed his personal relationship with them. He stated:

We are repeatedly told that we must be in a monogamous relationship and that love will heal us and fill in the gaps, and that’s what I thought celebrity would do for me. Except that, in both cases (Kylie and Nicole), the reality was disappointing.

He also clarified that the women themselves were not disappointing and he was pertaining to what happened in his relationships with them. Williams lamented how being a public figure would not allow him to keep his romantic affairs private.

The interviewer was seemingly shocked by the unexpected confession and later clarified that she had been inquiring about his work experience with Kidman and Minogue. Williams was equally dumbfounded by his own mistake and exclaimed, “Ah darn! I went all alone on slippery ground there.”

In an attempt to save face, he tried to laugh it off and even pulled some Bill Clinton classic moves by stating he never had any relationships with the two ladies. One would recall the infamous controversy involving the former president of the United States and the White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Clinton denied having s*xual affairs with the then 22-year-old woman but later on admitted to the accusation.

Williams collaborated with Minogue on the 2000 hit song Kids, while he worked with Kidman on the single Somethin’ Stupid a year later. It is understandable why the 50-year-old singer wanted to keep his relationships on the down-low, but attempting to retract his words after he confessed them on record is still ridiculously funny.

After Williams’ disastrous interview mistake, his spokesperson came to the rescue and told the public that his statement had been misunderstood. The agent told The Sun that the music icon “was not referring in any way to Nicole or Kylie, he has never had anything but a professional relationship with both women.”

He has been rumored to be romantically involved with Kidman and Minogue, but neither Williams nor the women confirmed any of the reports. The singer is now married to actress Ayda Field with whom he shares four children.
