PS Plus is Losing 19 Games After Today appeared on gamerant.com by Dalton Cooper.

Key Takeaways

  • 19 games are leaving PlayStation Plus after today.
  • Big titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Kingdom Hearts are on the chopping block.
  • The good news is a fresh batch of games will be added on November 19.

19 games are leaving PlayStation Plus after today. While PlayStation Plus subscribers can keep the monthly free games added to the Essential tier, the games playable through the Extra and Premium tiers rotate in and out of availability. New games are added, and existing games are removed every single month.

The PS Plus Extra and Premium game library updates tend to happen around the middle of each month, and the same holds true for the November 2024 new additions. As such, today marks the last day that PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can access 19 of the currently-available titles.

One denied PS Plus rumor involving a beloved series could mean big things for the rumors surrounding one of gaming’s most successful franchises.

After November 18, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be losing access toBlasphemous, Chorus, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, Mobile Suit Gundman Extreme Vs. Max Boost ON, Moving Out, Overcooked 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Superliminal, Teardown, The Sims 4: City Living, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Wild Card Football. Out of these, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the biggest game leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium, though fans may also be upset about the departures of Dragon’s Dogma, San Andreas, Kingdom Hearts, and What Remains of Edith Finch.

It’s a bummer that November 18 is the last day that these games will be available for PS Plus Extra and Premium, but there is some good news. A bunch of new games will be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium on November 19, some of which serve as suitable replacements for the titles that are getting the boot.

For example, Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PS Plus Extra on November 19, which should appeal to fans of Rockstar’s titles that are sad to see San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption 2 go. Overcooked: All You Can Eat is coming to PS Plus Extra the same day, and since it contains all the content in Overcooked 2, that departure is basically negated. Fans of The Sims 4 are also getting treated to Island Living, which is coming in place of City Living. So even though it’s disappointing that games are leaving the service, PS Plus subscribers should still have no shortage of games to play.
