Country star Kane Brown to perform on Long Island in May appeared on greaterlongisland.com by Nick Esposito.

Country music sensation Kane Brown is bringing his “The High Road Tour” to Long Island this spring.

The “Miles On It” singer will perform at UBS Arena, home of the New York Islanders at Belmont Park, on Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. Singers Mitchell Tenpenny and Ashley Cooke will be opening for him that night.

The tour, which kicks off in March, shares its name with his upcoming album set to release on Jan. 24. Brown recently debuted one of his new songs, “Backseat Driver,” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Watch it below.

A multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning singer/songwriter, Brown is a leading figure in the country music and country-pop scenes. Hailed by Billboard as “the future of country music,” he has achieved significant accolades, including a nomination for Album of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards for Mixtape, Vol. 1. His hits “Heaven” and “What Ifs” rank among the most-streamed country songs of all time.

If you can’t make the Long Island show, Brown’s tour schedule includes stops at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, as well as in Atlantic City and Albany. A full list of tour dates is available below.
