Fans want Elon Musk vs Zuckerberg cage fight at Trump's Mar-a-Lago as this video goes viral – Times of India appeared on timesofindia.indiatimes.com by TOI World Desk.
In July, Elon Musk, 53, said he was ready to fight Mark Zuckerberg, 40, at ‘any place, any time and any rules’. Now that Zuckerberg went to Mar-a-Lago to meet President-elect Donald Trump, the old video is viral and fans want the fight to happen at Trump’s place. Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are business rivals so much so that there were a lot of talks about the possibility of a cage fight between them and Elon Musk has been game about it. Zuckerberg too never doused any of those speculations and said he was also ready to fight Elon Musk physically.
The war of words continued and the Meta CEO visited Mar-a-Lago Wednesday to meet Donald Trump. Since the election night, Trump’s close confidante Elon Musk has been mostly found there.
Zuckerberg, however, did not go there to fight Elon Musk. Trump adviser Stephen Miller said the Meta CEO came to meet Trump like many other business leaders. “Mark Zuckerberg has been very clear about his desire to be a supporter of and a participant in this change that we’re seeing all around America, all around the world with this reform movement that Donald Trump is leading,” Miller said. “Mark Zuckerberg, like so many business leaders, understands that President Trump is an agent of change, an agent of prosperity.”
“Mark, obviously, he has his own interests, and he has his own company, and he has his own agenda,” Miller said. “But he’s made clear that he wants to support the national renewal of America under President Trump’s leadership.”
Zuckerberg did not endorse any presidential candidate in the election but lauded Trump after the July 13 assassination attempt on him in Pennsylvania. Zuckerberg specifically praised Trump’s fist-pumping reaction seconds after the attempt on his life. “Seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most bada – things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg said at that time.
“It’s an important time for the future of American Innovation. Mark was grateful for the invitation to join President Trump for dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming Administration,” a Meta spokesperson said.
