Adele has gone through quite the transformation since breaking on to the scene over a decade ago, and many fans continue to speculate what work, if any, the singer has gotten done. Recently, Adele opened up about rumors she’s had lip filler, only to deny the accusations.

During her “Weekends with Adele” residency concert in Las Vegas on February 17, Adele addressed the audience directly about the topic. A fan captured the moment and shared it on TikTok in a clip that’s since gone viral. Speaking candidly, Adele referred to a meme of herself at an NBA game that went viral years ago when the singer appeared upset by the sporting event that was unfolding in front of her, only to cause speculation about her big pout.

Adele Denies Having Work Done

“So obviously, I know I’m sitting courtside at a basketball game, whatever. But Rich [Paul] was working the room was working the room and, you know, talking to other players and people. I was fine. I didn’t mind,” Adele explained of what was going on at that moment.

“So, the people with the camera came over and asked me twice. They were like, ‘Do you mind if we film you? Can we put you on the screen?‘” the “Hello” Adele went on, explaining she wasn’t feeling in a mood to be filmed. “I said, ‘Please don’t. I just canceled [my] Las Vegas [residency]. I really don’t wanna be [on camera].’”

Nevertheless, she says the filming crew proceeded to get her on video without her consent, leading to the viral meme as well as lip filler speculation. But Adele defended herself, saying she’s never had anything done to her lips.

“I have naturally big lips … I don’t need filler,” she explained. “The reason I looked like a different person was because I was sulking.”

“Because I was like, ‘These motherf–kers have come back and are filming me against my will,’” the British native continued. “I was just very annoyed because I asked not to be filmed. But I guess I was asking it by going.”

Adele Has Reportedly Lost 100 Pounds

Adele may have not touched her lips, but no one can deny the dramatic body transformation she’s had over the years, with reports saying she’s lost more than 100 pounds. The singer has credited her weight loss to better eating habits and a consistent fitness routine, never admitting to plastic surgery or medications to help her shed weight.

Speaking to British Vogue, Adele said she got more into working out during quarantine amid the COVID pandemic, saying she’d exercise three times a day when there was little else to do.

“So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night,” she explained.

The mother-of-one has also credited working out with helping decrease her anxiety, giving her another motivation to keep her fitness up (as well as fans guessing how she’s done it).
