But it wasn’t without its drama once it officially got going again, as the Oscar-winner recently collapsed backstage due to a sciatica attack, and according to Adele herself, actually had to be picked up off the floor.

Adele Recalls Collapsing Backstage During Las Vegas Residency
According to an August 26th article by The Sun, the 35-year-old “Easy on Me” singer told fans at one of her recent concerts in Sin City that she was unable to move due to a sciatica attack, and had essentially collapsed backstage.
“They picked my whole body up off the floor,” the Grammy winner told the audience when she appeared on stage, according to The Sun. She also reportedly told the crowd that she had to take a break in the middle of the show, telling them: “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.”
As per the Mayo Clinic: “Sciatica refers to pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve travels from the lower back through the hips and buttocks and down each leg. Sciatica most often occurs when a herniated disk or an overgrowth of bone puts pressure on part of the nerve.”

What Has Adele Previously Said About Her Sciatica And Back Pain?
The “Skyfall” singer has been open with fans about her health for quite a while now. During a performance on New Year’s Eve, while firing T-shirts into the crowd with a handheld cannon, Adele said: “I’ve got two more, I’ve just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica.” She also told fans that she had a disintegrated disc in her spine.
Back in February, the “Hello” hitmaker also opened up to fans about experiencing some knee trouble. “Is anyone else kind of my age starting getting bad knees?” she asked her fans at the time. “I have got really bad sciatica in my left leg and my L5 disc is not [expletive] there anymore. It’s worn away.”

In November 2021, the “When We Were Young” singer told The Face magazine that she has suffered with back pain since she was a teenager. “I slipped my first disc when I was 15 from sneezing. I was in bed and I sneezed and my fifth one flew out. In January, I slipped my sixth one, my L6. And then when I had a C?section, my core was useless,” she confessed.
The “Someone Like You” singer then explained that she tends to have flare-ups if she is stressed or is regularly sitting with bad posture, but said that exercising is a huge help. “Where I got my tummy strong, down at the bottom, which I never had before, my back doesn’t play up as much,” she said, adding, “It means I can do more, I can run around with my kid a little bit more.”
