Recently, Navratilova made a comment about Tyson. It was an indirect and sarcastic comment on his collaboration with Evander Holyfield to launch a new product.

The product is based on the infamous ‘ear-biting’ incident in the 1997 heavyweight title fight between the two where Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear.

Martina Navratilova sarcastically mocks the Mike Tyson-Evander Holyfield collaboration
The duo that collaborated for the launch of ‘Ear-ie’ cannabis is an unexpected one. Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear in the Heavyweight Title match in 1997. Interestingly, on the same lines, this year Tyson launched ‘Mike Bites’ that are shaped like ears that have had a bite out of them.
Consequently, Navratilova found the perfect opportunity to mock the boxing legend. She tweeted, “I would have thought Mike would be endorsing mushrooms first?”
The collaboration of Tyson and Holyfield will be interesting for boxing fans as the two shared an intense rivalry in the squared circle. Now, the two former rivals have joined hands to take a step together in a business venture. In a recent interview, Tyson joked, “If I was on cannabis, I wouldn’t have bit (Holyfield’s) ear!”

Navratilova and her arch-rival Chris Evert
Navratilova and Evert shared one of the most legendary rivalries in the tennis world. Luckily, unlike Tyson and Holyfield, neither of them ever bit the other, no matter how strong their rivalry was on the court!

Despite dominating the WTA Tour during their time and challenging each other for the biggest titles on offer, both retired stars have shared a strong bond of friendship over the years.
