Amy Schumer bundles up on the set of her Hulu series Life & Beth as she films season two in New York City
Amy Schumer bundled up on the set of her Hulu series Life & Beth on Monday when she was seen filming the second season in New York City.
The comedian, 41 – who recently donned a sleek emerald pantsuit to the 75th Annual Writers Guild Awards – kept warm in a thick black coat, green beanie and black pants.
Schumer sported a pair of athletic kicks and carried a brown leather tote bag as she stood in the center of a park.
The show follows Schumer’s titular character of Beth – a wine distributer in Manhattan who moves back to her hometown of Long Island after the sudden death of her mother.
The first season ended with Beth entering into a relationship with a local farmer, played by Michael Cera, and season two will reportedly follow their new romance.

Schumer wears many hats on the hit Hulu series as she also serves as writer, director and producer.
‘It’s based on themes from my life,’ she told Entertainment Weekly last year. ‘But there is stuff that Beth does that really happened.
‘There’s an episode where she flashes some boys. That happened to me. And episode nine has a dark moment that’s real.’
The I Feel Pretty star tried to sum up her entire series in nutshell, but eventually declared that ‘it’s about so much.’
‘It’s really what I am thinking about every day, which is releasing your own shame and fear,’ she explained.
‘Because of these early traumas, we arm ourselves, and it’s about letting go and trusting and how to let yourself figure out how to be happy.’
Schumer went on to discuss how the intensity and depth of puberty can burden us with ‘armor.’
‘It’s so deep and so intense,’ said the Trainwreck star, ‘and you just have no idea what the f**ck you’re doing. Navigating it is so hard, and you can just be sexually humiliated so young and all these things. And then you’re just stuck with all this armor when you’re older.’
Season two: After earning positive reviews for its first season, the hit Hulu series was renewed for a second season. Schumer took to Instagram earlier this month to document the start of filming

Personal project: ‘It’s based on themes from my life,’ the I feel Pretty star told Entertainment Weekly last year. ‘It’s really what I am thinking about every day, which is releasing your own shame and fear,’ she explained (Schumer pictured this year with her husband Chris Fischer, 43)
Schumer – who shares her three-year-old son Gene with husband Chris Fischer, 43 – also spoke about the catharsis that comes from mining her own life for material.
‘It is cathartic for sure,’ the Inside Amy Schumer star told EW. ‘I am a communicator. As a comedian, you feel like you have something you want to say, and you want people to hear it.
The Emmy winner eventually made the connection to helping people feel better about themselves through her art.
‘The idea of making of making people feel better about themselves is all I could ask for. I’m so grateful because other artists have done that for me.’
