Bailey Zimmerman Scores Fourth Consecutive No.1, Admits It 'Doesn't Feel Real' appeared on countrynow.com by Country Now.
“Where It Ends” officially topped the country radio charts.
Bailey Zimmerman just earned his fourth consecutive No.1 at country radio and admits, it “honestly doesn’t feel real.”
The breakout country star’s latest single, “Where It Ends,” topped both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week.
Written by Zimmerman with Grant Averill and Joe Spargur, “Where It Ends” appears on the Illinois native’s record-breaking debut album, Religiously. The Album., and follows the chart-topping success of his previous singles, “Fall In Love,” “Rock and a Hard Place,” and “Religiously.”
Zimmerman and his team celebrated the No.1 song during their weekend tour, marking the occasion with a celebratory cake that led to a playful backstage cake fight. Alongside several photos and a video of the crowd singing along to the song, the singer/songwriter reflected on the song and the relationship that inspired it.
“This song has had a SPECIAL place in my heart…After going through the breakup I went through I realized how many chances I had given her… SHE KEPT DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER… and honestly that hurt my pride ALOT… so I wrote this song for all of us that are tired of giving 4th, 5th, AND 6th chances. SOMETIMES YA GOTTA SAY THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS,” he shared.
Zimmerman also thanked country radio for playing the song and his fans for supporting it along the way.
The news of his latest No.1 came just after Zimmerman headlined his very first arena. He documented the milestone moment on Instagram by sharing photos of the packed-out venue alongside an inspiring caption.
“These pics are proof that you should never let people tell you that your dreams aren’t obtainable… ANYTHING IN POSSIBLE FOR HIM WHO BELIEVES? BELIEVE IN YOURSELF,” he wrote.
In addition to his headlining shows, fans can also catch Bailey Zimmerman on tour with Morgan Wallen on select dates of the One Night At A Time Tour this summer.
Zimmerman’s latest release is “Hell or High Water” from the buzzed-about Twisters: The Album. This project is the musical companion to the highly anticipated new Twisters movie, a current-day chapter of the 1996 film, Twister.
“Whatever is going on in y’all’s life, I just hope this song gives you a sense of peace and hope because it does get better,” Zimmerman shared upon releasing the track. “God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And to those of y’all that are on the greener side of the battle, I hope this song makes you realize it was only high water. I really hope y’all love this song as much as I do.”
Several country artists are set to be featured on the album, including Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Megan Moroney, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, and more.
The album and movie arrive on Friday, July 19.
