Bailey Zimmerman stops in town to shoot upcoming content | CPT PPP Coverage

Growing up in the small town of Louisville, Ill., Zimmerman embraced country music on long-haul truck rides with his dad, and 80’s hair rock at home with his mom.

Zimmerman learned the values of hard work and dependability through a gig at the local meat market and long hours on a union gas pipeline by the time he was in high school.

While the artist understood what hard work was growing up, he always knew he had a love for music with natural talent just waiting to be tapped into. He performed anytime a guitar was nearby.

After a garage-recorded demo of his song “Never Comin’ Home” the overnight hit collected over a million plays in less an 24 hours.

After than viral moment, Zimmerman turned in his union card to fulfill a growing demand for new music.

Zimmerman fueled his meteoric rise with anthemic singles including, “Fall In Love,” “Rock and A Hard Place” and “Where It Ends.”

Though Zimmerman is only 22 years old, his impressive career has already logged over 400 million global streams, notched two entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and immediately sold out his first headline tour.Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman also highlighted the joy of having the upcoming artist in town.

“As always this was a great collaborative effort. Once we got the word that Bailey was coming to town, it must have caught wind fast. The young artist seemed to be such a really nice guy. While he was in town, many people drove by waving and cheering at him. Bailey and his team really seemed to enjoy Hopkinsville,” said Brockman.

“Alongside Brooke Jung for Visit Hopkinsville, Richie Acevedo at Hip Hop USA also played a big part in having the artist here. The upcoming artist made a great impression and we hope to have him back again.”

Establishing himself as one of music’s most exciting new voices, Bailey Zimmerman has made a name for himself for timeless American country, rafter-rattling arena rock, and authentic storytelling.

Zimmerman is currently signed to Warner Music Nashville/Elektra Records in Nashville. Having him drop by in town only adds to all of the cool things happening around the City.
