Billy Joel–Elton John Tribute Show Headlines Toms River Music Series appeared on patch.com by Karen Wall.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Get ready for music and laughter close to home as a new concert series is getting ready to launch at the Maria Ressa Auditorium at Toms River High School North.
The concert and event series by LincStar Events launches April 8, and a preliminary lineup includes three shows, with more events to be announced, including holiday shows.
LincStar management is the organizer of the Bamboozle Festival in Atlantic City and also arranges other live entertainment in Atlantic City, Carteret, Albany, NY, and Easton, PA, but its founder is well-versed in the Ocean County market.
“We’re bringing great, live entertainment for all ages back to Ocean County,” said John D’Esposito, LincStar Events’ founder and CEO. “These quality shows are affordable and close to home in a beautiful, state-of-the-art theater. With room for just over 1,000 guests, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.”
The initial schedule is as follows:
April 8: ‘The Break Contest’ Finals, a local band contest sponsored by Bamboozle Festival. The doors open at noon and the show begins at 1 p.m.
July 22: The New York Bee Gees, a Bee Gees tribute band. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.
Aug. 12: Elton John & Billy Joel FACE 2 FACE: The Tribute Show. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.
The Maria Ressa Auditorium is at Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Road, and there is free parking. Tickets are on sale at TomsRiverShows.com.
