Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 Bundle is Exclusive to PlayStation Direct
Those who have yet to get their hands on a PS5 console may be interested to hear there will be a new bundle available next month. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 bundle will be available exclusively at the Playstation Direct store and will be released on the same day as the game: October 28, 2022.
What’s included in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 bundle?
The PS5 bundle will include a disc version of the 1TB PS5 console with Astro’s Playroom already installed. There will also be a digital code for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – Cross-Gen Bundle, which will include the game for PS5 and PS4, the Final Judgment Bundle, the Khaled Al-Asad Operator Bundle, and the Oni Operator Pack. The PS5 bundle is only available through PlayStation Direct and will cost $559.99. Free launch day delivery is available and players can pre-order the console right now with limits of one per household due to demand.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 finished its open beta period today following a brief two-hour extension for extra testing. The next time players will be able to get their hands on the game is when campaign early access begins on October 20, although this is unlikely to apply to players purchasing the PS5 bundle as the code will be included in the box. Following that, the full game will launch on PS5 and PS4 on October 28. Just under three weeks later, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will launch on PS4 and PS5 too. For those who want to play one of the games but not the other, Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 will be separate downloads this time around.
