China’s defence minister Li Shangfu is set to visit Russia and Belarus this week. The announcement comes amidst Li’s refusal to hold meetings with his US counterparts until sanctions imposed on him by Washington are lifted. Li said he hoped both China and Russia could strengthen communication at all levels.
