“Classic”: Russell Westbrook hyped to see Justin Beiber rock $386 Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 ‘Splash Zone’ at open run appeared on www.sportskeeda.com by Reign Amurao.

LA Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook was hyped to see Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber wear his signature shoes recently. A video of Bieber playing basketball while wearing Westbrook’s signature pair in an open gym went viral.

Bieber is known to be a basketball fan and has a tremendous on-court presence whenever he plays the game. Many were surprised to see him play the game with ease. Knocking down jump shots with his savvy left hand, the hitmaker showed off his talents on the court again.

One of the people who saw this was Westbrook, who noticed that the man behind the hit song “Baby” was wearing his signature kicks. Bieber had the Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 “Splash Zone,” which is worth $386. The Clippers guard saw the singer’s game and shared it on his Instagram stories.

“Classic,” Westbrook captioned.

This isn’t the first time people have seen the famous singer play basketball. In 2011, he took home MVP nods after the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. Bieber finished with eight points, two rebounds and four assists.

This time around, it looks like he improved his game. He can confidently shoot the basketball better and can break down the defenses with his handles.

Iman Shumpert talked about Russell Westbrook’s struggles with the Lakers

During the past two seasons, Russell Westbrook was heavily criticized for his style of play with the LA Lakers. He struggled to fit into what the team was trying to do and how the other two All-Stars played. It was obvious that Westbrook had to sacrifice a lot to fit with the team.

Still, despite his efforts, the 2016-17 MVP wasn’t able to make a significant impact with the Lakers. Former New York Knicks guard, Iman Shumpert talked about why Westbrook struggled in Los Angeles for two seasons.

“Bro, he didn’t throw himself into this to get 20 percent touches and now he gotta be super efficient,” Shumpert said. “His whole knock has been he’s not efficient his whole career. He don’t play on efficiency, he play on heart.

“And now you gotta deal with Bron (LeBron James) and them. They needed to play at a different pace. Bron needs to control the pace, push when he wants to. Russ needs y’all to have as many broken plays. A rebound happen, and y’all gotta deal with him comin’ full speed, and you gotta look for Russ over your shoulder. You gotta deal with him doin’ that.

“That’s Russ’ game. That’s where he becomes a nightmare for you.”

Luckily for Westbrook, he was traded last season to the Clippers, where it looks like he’ll flourish with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
