Drake’s ‘Snake Pit’ Reference in Music Video With Mike Tyson Goes Viral appeared on www.essentiallysports.com by EssentiallySports.

‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ Mike Tyson is no stranger when it comes to being in front of the camera. Boxing career aside, he also possessed a legendary and eccentric personality outside the ring. Moreover, this personality went on to become an iconic part of his onscreen appearances. And, in turn, paved the way for multiple artists wishing to feature Tyson in their videos. In fact, Tyson was recently seen in Canadian rapper, Drake’s latest music video.

Drake is currently considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary music. He recently released a studio album called ‘Her Loss’. It should be mentioned that this was a collaborative studio album with 21 Savage.

One of the most popular songs in the album was ‘Jumbotron Sh*t Poppin’. The song which has currently amassed over 1.2 million views, saw Drake flex a myriad of rare items, including $3.3 million worth of chains, previously owned by Pharell Williams.

Tyson, on the other hand, also made a blink-and-miss appearance in the song. Drake incorporated a snippet from the time he met the champ in the song. The lyrics at the time of Tyson’s appearance were rather intriguing as well. With the song going, “Posted at the crib in a snake pit. Every time I tell you how I feel, I don’t fake sh*t.”

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that Tyson was not the only celebrity featured in the video. And rappers like Lil Baby and French Montana were seen making an appearance.

This was not the first time Mike Tyson appeared in a music video

‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ has, in fact, appeared in a noticeable number of music videos. One of his first and, most memorable, music video appearances were in Hollywood superstar, Will Smith’s music video.

‘I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson’ was a single released by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince in 1989. Notably, The Fresh Prince was Smith’s stage name. Staying true to the title, the song’s storyline revolved around Smith trying to fight Tyson. Moreover, the culmination of the video even involved a boxing match between Smith and Tyson.
