Former University of Kentucky Student Indicted for Racist Attacks
Sophia Rosing, a UK student who previously attended the University of Kentucky, has been indicted by a grand jury. Last year, Rosing committed a series of racial attacks against Kylah Spring, another University of Kentucky student. The incident was caught on tape and went viral across social media.
Rosing was charged with third-degree assault of a police officer, two counts of fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication and found guilty on all counts.
Kanye West and Adidas Find a Resolution
After a very public separation, Kanye West and Adidas have reportedly come to an agreement. The footwear company will release the $500 million worth of remaining Yeezy shoe inventory slated for 2023. Doing so would benefit the cash-strapped rapper greatly and be a source of debt relief for Adidas as well. The deal, however, does not represent a re-unification of the two parties.
Ayo Edebiri to Star Marvel’s Thunderbolts
Marvel has released its casting for its upcoming movie Thunderbolt. FX’s The Bear ‘s actress Ayo Edebiri is set to enter the Marvel Universe as a co-star in the film. Although her role has not been disclosed, she joins Steven Yeun, Florence Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour. The film will be released in 2024.
