Elon Musk finally appoints a new CEO, reveals ‘he is great with numbers’ appeared on economictimes.indiatimes.com by ET Online.
The eccentric billionaire, known for his whimsical tweets, dropped a picture of his Shiba Inu Floki and wrote, “The new CEO of Twitter is amazing!” In the picture, Floki is seen sporting a sweater with the word ‘CEO’ superimposed on it. He can be seen sitting on a chair behind a desk. He went on to add in a separate post, “So much better than that other guy!”. The post quickly went viral on the microblogging platform, with over 44.8 million views and 549K likes.

However, Musk predictably didn’t stop there. He dropped two more pictures of Floki. One shows the pooch, bespectacled and sporting a collared shirt, pondering over some documents. Musk wrote, “He is great with numbers! He dropped a final close-up of the bespectacled dog, along with the caption, “And he has style!”

The posts triggered some rather hilarious responses from the Twitterati. A Twitter user commented wryly, “I guess he was the only one crazy enough to take the job! Another chimed in, “I trust we are in good paws now!” Another wrote, “He doesn’t believe in remote work either?” (Referring to Musk’s ban on remote work) Others left witty comments with brilliant puns such as “Yea, I think he can handle the Ruff days,” and “I see him as a watchdog,”. Another wrote, “Must have been an offer he couldn’t ruff-fuse.”

Earlier, the billionaire had conducted a poll to ask the general public if he should continue as the Chief Executive Officer. Over 10 million people asked Musk to resign.
Although he had promised to “abide by the results” of the poll, the 51-year-old billionaire seems to be in no hurry to relinquish his role as Twitter boss.
