Elton John Spotted Wearing The Most ‘Elton John‘ Rolex Ever appeared on www.dmarge.com by DMARGE.
He’s in the final throes of his five-year farewell tour, but the legend that is Elton John is showing little signs of slowing down – nor has his extravagant style dimmed one bit. Case in point: the outrageous Rolex he’s been spotted wearing…
The 75-year-old singer/songwriter/pianist/style icon was in attendance at Versace’s FW23 show in West Hollywood late last week, chilling in the front row with fellow queer musical icons Lil Nas X and Miley Cyrus.
You’d think it would be pretty hard to compete with such headline-grabbing celebrities for attention – but the rare Rolex Yacht-Master ‘Haribo’ (ref. 116695SATS) worth a solid US$200,000 perched on his wrist certainly caught our eyes.
Also sometimes called the ‘Tutti Frutti’, the Yacht-Master ‘Haribo’ features an 18ct rose gold case, a diamond pavè dial and a bezel set with 38 different coloured sapphires (blue, orange, yellow and pink), 8 tsavorites (the green gems), and 1 diamond at 12 o’clock rather than the Yacht-Master’s typical timing scale.
Like virtually all of Rolex’s ‘rainbow’ pieces, it’s an ‘off-catalogue’ model, meaning that it’s not officially listed anywhere on Rolex’s website or on display in boutiques. This is a rare and exclusive watch that’s only offered or available to Rolex’s most important (and cashed-up) customers. In short, they’re super hard to get.

Honestly, we can’t think of a more ‘Elton John’ watch. Eye-catching, dramatic, and swathed in rainbow gemstones? With a fruity nickname? Sometimes the stories just write themselves.
Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road retirement tour, which made its way to Australia in January (for the third time since the tour started in 2018!) is now on its final European leg, which will kick off in Liverpool on the 23rd of March and end in Stockholm on the 8th of July after a mammoth 333 shows.
According to Billboard, the tour has grossed US$817.9 million from 278 shows through to January 2023, making it solidly the highest-grossing tour of all time. That’s enough money to buy more than a few Rolex watches, we reckon.
