Eve opened up in her memoir Who’s That Girl about the time when The LOX were figuring out how they were going to confront Mike Tyson for making her feel uncomfortable during their interaction.
“One time, Mike Tyson tried talking to me crazy when I was out with The LOX,” Eve wrote, courtesy of Okayplayer. “The guys saw I was noticeably uncomfortable, and they were about to fight Mike Tyson to protect me. Literally, Styles P, Jadakiss, and Sheek Louch were building a strategy around how they were going to potentially gang up on Iron Mike.”
The LOX spoke about the incident from their perspective in a 2020 appearance on Drink Champs. N.O.R.E. launches into the topic at the 1:20:00 mark by revealing Tyson told Eve on the red carpet of the Source Awards, “I’ll fuck the shit outta you.”
Styles P claims Sheek Louch “volunteered for the blow” since he was the biggest of the three. “It’s not crazy disrespectful, but it’s like the type if it’s somebody you can beat, you be like, ‘Watch your fucking mouth,'” Styles said of Tyson’s demeanor around several women, including Eve. “But it’s Mike Tyson, so you can’t beat him, so you can’t say, ‘Watch your fucking mouth.'”
As her big brothers, Styles P said they felt obligated to be protectors, even if that meant confronting Iron Mike. “Now we’ve come to a decision,” he continued. “He’s gonna keep talking to Eve, we might gotta poke Mike. He can’t do that.”
Even though they were fully aware that “whoever run up on Mike is going to sleep ASAP,” Styles P said Sheek Louch was given that task because he’s the biggest and strongest of them all.
The near altercation was revisited when Styles P appeared on Hotboxin with Mike Tyson in 2022.
Styles discloses once again how close Tyson has been with The LOX, which is what made the situation so difficult for them. “Mike loves us,” he said at the 13:08 mark. “We’re The LOX, we’re his little bros. We got rapport, we hang out, we chill, we smoke weed, all that. That’s big bro.”
An embarrassed Tyson claimed he later apologized to Eve for his behavior. “I didn’t mean that, Eve,” he said. “Me and Eve, we made amends. I said sorry. That’s all I care about.”
