Fallout 76 Atlantic City update teaser references Springsteen appeared on www.app.com by Chris Jordan.
We’re not sure if Bruce Springsteen is going, but fans of the Fallout 76 video game are headed to Atlantic City.
An Atlantic City update for the video game was announced in recent teaser and it featured a quick reference to Bruce Springsteen‘s 1982 classic song, “Atlantic City.” The teaser video, styled like a retro tourist film, is called “Answer the Call of Vault 76.”
Put your rad-shield on,
And fix your hair up pretty
Because we’re headed for the boardwalk
Of Atlantic City
It comes at the 1:35 mark of the teaser and it echoes the chorus of the of the Boss’ “Atlantic City.” Springsteen doesn’t make an appearance in the teaser, and there’s no word if he’s referenced in the game’s update. A request for comment from Bethesda Game Studios, the maker of the game, was not replied to by press time.

“There’s no telling what new treasures this new beach haven will hold,” said the teaser.
A release date for the update has not been announced. Check out the teaser below.
There seems to be an “Atlantic City” moment happening. The band Thursday, from New Brunswick, began their set with the song at the Adjacent Festival in A.C. on May 27. Jack Antonoff of Bleachers, a Springsteen collaborator, flipped the script by performing Tom Waits’ “Jersey Girl” at the fest.
The song “Atlantic City” was released on the album “Nebraska,” and the LP is the focus of the new book, “Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska,” by Warren Zanes.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are currently playing stadiums in Europe, but they come back to thee States with shows Aug. 9 and 11 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Area shows include Aug. 16 and 18 at Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia and Aug. 30, Sept. 1 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
