LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Former President Bill Clinton spoke Wednesday at the Clinton Presidential Center honoring those who have forged a path to citizenship in the United States.
In all, 40 people attended the naturalization ceremony to become U.S. citizens after completing the process.
“Hopefully the American dream will always have an attraction for people like you, we are honored to have you as Americans and I wish you well,” Clinton said.
“I feel very happy on this day because it is a dream come true.” New U.S. citizen Criselda Ramos said.
And many more were encouraged, as their first act as a U.S. citizen, to register to vote so they could take part in one of the most sacred acts as an American.
