Supermodel and former partner of One Direction‘s Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid, opened up about their co-parenting journey with their two-year-old daughter, Khai. As Hadid recently shared in an interview, she plans her work commitments for times when Khai is with her father, ensuring that their daughter can be with both parents. The 27-year-old expressed her happiness about the situation, saying that it brings her joy to know that Khai can spend quality time with both of her parents.
The split between Hadid and Malik made headlines in October 2021, just over a year after they welcomed their daughter. The break-up reportedly came amid a family dispute between Malik and Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.
According to a police report, Malik allegedly “grabbed and shoved,” Yolanda, causing mental anguish and physical pain. However, the former One Direction member denied the allegations and pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment.
Despite the reported family dispute, Hadid has made it clear that she and Malik are on good terms and are committed to co-parenting their daughter. Hadid even gave a shout-out to Malik on Father’s Day, showing her appreciation for his role in Khai’s life.
