Grand Theft Auto is leaving PS Plus in February 2023 with eight other free games appeared on by Callum Smith.

The reveal date for the upcoming PS Plus February 2023 free games is still a week away, but, in the absence of leaks, there are already wild predictions online and we know of nine games that are leaving.

January has been a good month for PlayStation subscribers. The January 2023 catalogues line-up for Extra and Premium has just added Back 4 Blood, Life Is Strange Before The Storm, and the incredible Devil May Cry 5.

All of the above are games are fantastic, but there are nine titles you will need to play before they leave Extra next month.

PS Plus February 2023 free games reveal date

The reveal date for when the next PS Plus free games will be announced is February 1st, 2023.

Sony’s PlayStation Blog post for January confirms that the release date for the next batch of freebies is February 6th. Upcoming freebies are traditionally announced on the final Wednesday before launch, but it has rarely happened on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and even Friday.

Make sure to download the current Essential giveaways while they’re availableFallout 76, Axiom Verge 2, and the remarkable Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.

PlayStation predictions

There are no leaks for PS Plus February 2023 as of yet, but one of our Essential predictions is Marvel’s Avengers.

It’s already part of Extra and Premium, but Extra and Premium games being given away in the Essential tier has become a recurring trend. And we could see the inclusion of Avengers as development is shutting down with it getting delisted in September.

Aside from Marvel’s Avengers, we’re also hoping for the arrivals of Riders Republic and Immortals Fenyx Rising as part of PlayStation’s collaboration with Ubisoft Plus. We also want to see Sackboy A Big Adventure finally join PS Plus Extra as it’s the only PS5 console exclusive launch title not on the subscription service unlike Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man Miles Morales.

  • Rad Rodgers
  • Sine Mora EX
  • SkyDrift Infinity
