Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton to Headline Florida Country Music Festival in 2025 appeared on americansongwriter.com by Erinn Callahan.
Luke Combs, Bailey Zimmerman, and Jon Pardi were gearing up to headline the Country Thunder Florida festival in October—until Hurricane Milton devastated the state. In light of the widespread damage, organizers made the difficult decision to cancel the festival. However, there is good news for anyone who was disappointed to miss the event. Next spring, Country Thunder Florida is bringing Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, and more to Tampa.
Country Thunder Florida Is Moving to Tampa
Originally destined for Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, the Tampa Sports Authority announced this week that the Country Music Festival will head to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium May 2-4, 2025.
Next year’s lineup is a country music lover’s dream, with Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton and Riley Green headlining the event.
Ella Langley, Jake Owen, Ashley McBryde, Clint Black and more will also take the stage.
Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer said he was excited for fans to experience live country music in a “larger, more dynamic venue.”
With this move, we can elevate the festival experience to new heights while maintaining the same community spirit that makes Country Thunder so special,” Vollhoffer said.

Jelly Roll Will Join Brooks and Dunn Onstage At 2024 CMA Awards
Jelly Roll soared to international fame in 2023 with his country music debut, Whitsitt Chapel. His star has been on the rise ever since. And next week, he will join one of country’s most iconic duos onstage at the 2024 CMA Awards.
The “Son of a Sinner” singer is teaming up with Brooks & Dunn for a performance of the best-selling pair’s 2005 hit “Believe.” In 2019, “Believe” came in at No. 33 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 40 Saddest Country Songs of All Time. Add Jelly Roll into the mix, and tissues are a necessity.
