HarbourView Equity Partners has bought “select” publishing assets from country music star Kane Brown. Brown, known for hits such as ‘Homesick’, has released three studio albums and so far generated $8.4 million in album consumption. “Partnering with someone like Kane who adds such a beautiful texture to the country genre is consistent with who we are as a firm. Kane is a special talent, and we are excited to be on the journey”, said HarbourView CEO and founder Sherrese Clarke Soares in a statement. The terms of the deal between the firm and the singer were not disclosed. HarbourView has bought music assets from other artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Florida Georgia Line, Brad Paisley and Lady A. The company describes itself as a global investment firm that acquires music assets from diverse genres, eras and artists.
