One rather obscure fantasy thriller has managed to become a rare exception, though, and is rising through the ranks to make the most-watched list in more than 50 countries, all the while increasing its chances of getting a renewal.

Fans have had to learn the hard way that the streaming mogul has no compunctions about canceling originals left and right as long as it serves their peculiar business vision, so why this middling and rather unpopular fantasy show has managed to avoid it up to this point is truly a wonder.

Not only that, Welcome to Eden is actually going for a momentous run in more than fifty countries, so the Spanish series might get that rare and unlikely renewal, after all.
