Luke Combs’ Postgame Selfie With Peyton Manning Should Win Its Own CMA Award appeared on www.whiskeyriff.com by Whiskey Riff.

Hang it in the Louvre.

Luke Combs was having a stellar night while in attendance of the 57th Annual CMA Awards. Combs took home Single of the Year with his cover of “Fast Car” and helped Tracy Chapman make history with the song, leading her to win Song of the Year.

While some country music fans didn’t love that a cover song won Single of the Year, that did not rain on Combs’ parade as he enjoyed the rest of his evening and the stellar performances that came with the award show.

He dumped a few photos from the past week on Instagram, and while the red carpet photos with his wife Nicole look great, and his studio shot with Posty has fans excited, it’s the postgame selfie with Peyton Manning that wins.

Rip through the carousel over to pic #9 and bask in the glory:

I mean, he should blow that up and hang it over the fireplace in his house… I will accept nothing less.

Luke Jams To “Delta Dawn”

As the stack of solo cups grew that Combs was sipping on throughout the night, he was jammin’ out. Especially to Tanya Tucker’s performance, which included her hit single “Delta Dawn.” As the camera panned through the crowd, it made stops on Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, and Luke was NAILING those bass notes in the performance.

The video is hilarious as Wallen barely seems to know the words to the song, and Combs is putting his back into belting out the words alongside Tucker. Maybe this short clip highlights what kind of country music these two grew up listening to.

The way the camera pans lines up to Combs singing along is too perfect. It looks like he really is belting out that bass harmony with a mic hooked up to him. Nicole Combs looks less than impressed, as she is trying to enjoy the performance, which makes the clip even funnier.

Those Millers must have hittin’… if this video isn’t a sign that we need to bring back fan cams, I’m not sure what is.
