Matching the gorgeous venue URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events on Aug. 5 will be the repertoire of Taylor Simon King, a celebration of American troubadours James Taylor, Carly Simon and Carole King.
Produced by Oscar-winning songwriter Franke Previte (“Dirty Dancing”) and his talented wife, Lisa Sherman, one of the all-star band’s front folk, the 10-piece ensemble’s take on Simon’s “You’re So Vain” is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “You’re So Vain” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Aug. 4 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The Penguin and MixCloud.

They also play such timeless classics “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Anticipation,” “So Far Away,” “Fire and Rain,” “How Sweet It Is,” “It’s Too Late,” “Shower the People,” “Nobody Does It Better,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” “Jazzman” and more!
