Mike Perry Has No Doubt Who Wins Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson After Losing To Paul – Seconds Out appeared on www.secondsout.com by Seconds Out.
Mike Perry is the last man to face Jake Paul so is perhaps in the best position to predict what will happen when boxing legend Mike Tyson faces the YouTuber-turned-fighter later this year.
The former heavyweight champion was originally scheduled to face Paul on July 20, but an ulcer flare-up caused the 58-year-old to postpone the bout until later in the year.
Paul wasn’t without an opponent for long when Bare Knuckle champion and former UFC fighter Perry stepped up to the plate.
Speaking to Paul on his podcast, he was asked for his prediction for the Tyson fight, and he didn’t hesitate picking ‘The Problem Child’ to get his hand raised.
“I think you [Jake] win. I think you’re younger and I think you’re doing the right things as far as what your team has you doing, it works.
I wasn’t able to add anything up on you, I wasn’t able to have you punch yourself out, I wasn’t able to get you on the ropes where I could release a flurry and at 58, Mike’s age is something I’m thinking about.
I think you get that.”
Paul himself believes he will get no respect no matter who he beats.
“What people don’t see is me beating top 5 ranked guys in the gym, me beating former champions in the gym. Eventually we’re going to release all the sparring footage and there is going to be a crazy documentary showing the whole process.
People still don’t respect me. No matter what I do they are always going to hate.”
Paul vs Tyson will now take place at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas on November 15 and will be streamed live on Netflix.
