Wallen continues to break records with third album

Morgan Wallen’s 36 track One Thing at a Time album has earned the country star the genre’s largest streaming week ever. Billboard reports the project has earned more than 400,000 equivalent album sales in the US within its first five days of release, according to Luminate. The album’s tracks have collectively earned over 375 million on-demand streams in addition to 100,000 sales for digital downloads and CDs.

Upon its release on March 3rd, One Thing At A Time arrived as Spotify’s largest streaming debut of any genre in 2023 and the most streamed country album in a single day by a male artist.

The country star is the fifth artist in the past 12 months to have cleared at least 400,00 units in a single week. He joins Drake, 21 Savage, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles in the elite club.

Luminate is expected to release the final numbers over the weekend. If One Thing at a Time debuts at No. 1 as expected, Wallen will become the first male artist with back-to-back chart topping albums on the Billboard 200 chart since Thomas Rhett accomplished the feat with Life Changes in 2017 and Center Point Road in 2019.

Following a series of free concerts in celebration of the 36 track One Thing At A Time – including an attendance record-setting show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena – Wallen is gearing up to showcase his new music.

Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour – named after the title track of his recently released third studio album One Thing At A Time via Big Loud/Mercury/Republic – is produced by Live Nation in North America/United Kingdom and Frontier Touring for Australia/New Zealand. Kicking off overseas March 15-25th with shows in New Zealand and Australia with Hardy, before returning stateside on April 14th at Milwaukee’s American Family Field with Hardy; hitting New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park with Parker McCollum. The tour will return overseas December 3rd at The O2 in London. Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman will support across US and international dates.
