New Nintendo Switch 2 Home Console, Touted as the PlayStation Killer, Reportedly Has Inbuilt Feature Both Xbox and PS5 Lack – FandomWire appeared on fandomwire.com by FandomWire.
Sony and Microsoft dropped their most recent next-gen console, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and S, respectively. However, Nintendo has been relatively quiet. With their last console released six years ago, fans were dejected until the rumours about the Nintendo Switch 2 started floating around. Considering the Nintendo Switch is old hardware, it’s likely that the Japanese company is getting back into the game.
Nintendo mainly presents consoles that have been engineered from the features and power of their successors. With producing handheld machines mostly, they’ve been iterative. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement about the next-gen console from Nintendo. Fans don’t even know the actual name of the console, so they’ve been speculating it as “Switch 2”.

What is speculated about the Nintendo Switch 2?
Nothing is known about the next-gen console from Nintendo. Most information as of now is either speculation or rumours. Let’s talk about the release date of the console to begin with. Nintendo has already mentioned that they won’t introduce any new machines till April 2023. With that being said, it’s already August, so the best we can expect for this console is 2024. Nintendo launched their OLED model, and fans have been wondering about a “Pro” model from the company. Players are still pondering whether it will be a Nintendo Switch 2 or a Nintendo Switch Pro. Even though using random terms after consoles can have different implications. Generally, “Pro” versions are more efficient and better than their base models.

There have been many rumours floating around centring on the new next-generation Nintendo console. Being called the Switch 2, it is being considered as the successor to the old Nintendo Switch. There has been leaked information that the next-gen Nintendo console might have a camera for allowing VR capabilities. Even though there hasn’t been any official announcement made from Nintendo, fans are continuing with their speculation about this device. Nintendo fans should take this information with a grain of salt because they aren’t a reliable source to trust anything from. And the person who leaked the information himself wasn’t sure of this information, so Nintendo fans shouldn’t get excited ahead of time. On the other hand, people are making bold statements about this upcoming console, calling it the “PlayStation 5? killer. It would be too early to say anything about the next-gen Nintendo since there is close to no information about the machine.
