Official 'Sinners' Trailer Reunites Michael B. Jordan With Director Ryan Coogler in Bloody Thriller appeared on hypebeast.com by Joyce Li.
Black Panther alums Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler have joined forces once again for their fifth project together. Announced earlier this year, the duo have officially given fans a glimpse of what to expect for their upcoming film together. Titled Sinners, the gory thriller from Warner Bros. is based on an original script by Coogler.
The much-anticipated horror is set in the 1930s Jim Crow era-South and was filmed earlier this year in New Orleans. The supernatural thriller’s official description reads, “Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.” The cast features a star-studded cast that includes Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Li Jun Li and more alongside Jordan.
This film marks the first time Coogler has directed a film since the Black Panther movies. Jordan recently shared the film’s poster on his Instagram page before revealing the ominous trailer. The film hits theaters on March 7, 2025.
