When asked whether he would give it a shot, especially at the time of crisis, Manning dodged the question cleverly, saying, “I don’t think so” twice.

“I didn’t think I’d be a very good coach. I was good at calling plays when I was playing quarterback, I’m not very good when other people are playing quarterback,” he said in the interviews.
