PlayStation Plus drops surprise extra free download for subscribers appeared on www.gamingbible.com by Catherine Lewis.
PlayStation Plus has been pretty dang brilliant over the last couple of months. Particularly if you’re subscribed to the slightly pricer Extra or Premium tiers, there’s been so many brilliant games to jump into – we’ve been spoilt for choice.
Earlier this month, Sony announced a whopping 28 additional titles to dive into, including Far Cry 6, A Hat in Time, Forager and Killzone: Liberation. These arrived on top of the monthly Essential-tier freebies, which this month, are NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi. All in all, that selection is not to be sniffed at.
Take a look at the trailer for Trek to Yomi below.
On top of all those games, all PS Plus subscribers can get their hands on a bonus gift this month for Call of Duty: Warzone. To celebrate the game’s fourth season, subscribers can currently claim the Call of Duty: Warzone – Combat Pack (Hydro), which is a big ol’ bundle of cosmetics. The main thing to be excited about here is the free operator skin for Oni, but the pack also includes two weapon blueprints, a player card, emblem, sticker and charm.
A similar PlayStation Plus freebie is currently being offered for Fortnite players, too. The True Colors Pack, which released earlier this month to coincide with the release of Chapter 4 Season 3, includes the colourful Vivi Chroma Outfit and Scribbles Back Bling. It’s only available to claim for a limited time, so if you want to go for those sweet victory royales in a flashy new style, be sure to get on it while you can.
Back to the new free Call of Duty: Warzone pack, and it’s not clear how long this will be available for, either. If you want to get your hands on it, be sure to claim it sooner rather than later from the PlayStation Store. You can find its store page here.
