As we’ve seen in the past with day-one PS Plus launch games like Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Foamstars, Sony loves ringing in a big catch for its subscription service with a unique reward on PS Stars. The same holds true for the latest day-one PS Plus game, as PlayStation Stars has added a time-limited Lost Records collectible that you can claim simply by earning one easy PS5 trophy!

Day-one PS Plus Extra launch game gets time-limited PS Stars reward

• If you can grab one of the Lost Records Rage and Bloom trophies quick, you can net a “Heroic” PS Stars reward!
• The narrative adventure game launched on PS5 and PS Plus Extra on Tuesday, February 18, 2025
• Unfortunately, the reward isn’t points, but it is a neat little digital collectible themed on the game

Sony has updated its list of PlayStation Stars campaigns on the PS App with a new challenge simply titled “Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.” Available until Friday, April 18, 2025, this campaign lets you add main character Swann Holloway’s camcorder to your digital collection — a cute little get for fans of the game!

To complete the campaign, you’ll just have to earn one of Lost Records‘ easiest trophies: “Directorial Debut.” You’ll likely pick this bronze PS5 trophy within 30 minutes of starting the game, as I’m pretty sure it’s unmissable. To unlock it, you simply need to watch back your first memoir compilation — something that the game tutorializes in Swann’s bedroom near the beginning of the story.

I think the reward is a good incentive for PlayStation Stars die-hards to check out this Life is Strange spiritual successor. Plus, hey; it comes recommended. My Lost Records: Rage and Bloom Tape 1 review was pretty positive — barring a few minor structural hiccups, I really loved the writing and characters here and I think people should really check this one out!

The deadline for this collectible is also just a few days after Tape 2 launches and finally lets us take home Lost Records’ platinum trophy.
