Another name of the tennis great, Roger Federer came into Williams’ consideration when she was asked about naming her child. The tennis star surprised a lot of fans when she revealed that she might name her child after the Swiss tennis legend.

The 23-time singles Grand Slam champion previously conducted a Q and A session on her social media in order to converse with her fans. Serena Williams stated, “Today is Friday. I anyone feeling a quick #SerenaFriday ?? If so ask anything you want. I’m here and ready. Hurry before I get too busy. :)”
One of the fans, with his active online presence, took note of the Q and A session conducted by Wiliams. The fan joined the Q and A by asking, “@serenawilliams hi! will u be naming ur child after roger since chip is named after rafa?? ;p #serenafriday”
The American tennis legend surprised a number of fans when she named her Yorkshire terrier, named Christopher “Chip” after the Spanish tennis star. Notably, the fan was quite intrigued that Williams might again surprise everyone by naming her child after another tennis great, Roger Federer.
